1) to have a grudge or start one with another person

2) when rappers aren’t good enough lyricists to have fans, or just want some publicity, they will copy tupac, biggy and snoop, or set up a beef with another rapper.

Having said that…. I see far too many females whining about relationship or acceptance woes on Tumblr. Ok…. let’s get this straight for you kids who can’t seem to relate to society…..

As adults, we ignore you or laugh at you….

WHY?

Because we all went through this in our teens, too. It was serious. It was crucial. It was THE end of the WORLD.

Then….. we graduated, got jobs, grew up, learned more, gained wisdom….

we hated life for NEW, and far more legitimate reasons. But, we can’t hide in our bedrooms, we can’t WTF a situation, we can’t IGGY a bill, and we LOVE our teenage children…. who, at this moment, are crying over acne, clothing, jealousy or being dumped. But if you think that we weren’t there, you’re a fool.

It’s repulsive, it’s earth-shattering, it’s social suicide….. we know! But, time marches forward, and despite all the feelings we have (that match yours exactly), we arrived at adulthood, and then had children of our own.

It’s nice to not be feeling what you feel.

But, life is hard… and it’s VERY hard for adults…. even worse for parents. Because we get to live through the worst part of life twice… thanks to you. We care. We love. We feel.

But if you expect your parents to go through teenage pain again…. NO WAY!

We love you, but it’s too awful to repeat. Hang in there…. because we care, and we have been through it….

And we are still here. Alive… not dead by suicide.

So, you can survive it, too.

But not before we have a laugh at your expense…. your turn will come, too. Just stay strong.
